About Us

About Us

Empowerment Support Collective is dedicated to supporting individuals to build safer, stronger, and more independent lives through compassionate, person-centred support.

Founded by Joni and Bob, the practice brings together experience in Positive Behaviour Support, domestic and family violence specialist support, and counselling. Joni holds a Diploma of Counselling and Community Services, and Bob holds a degree in Psychology, bringing a strong understanding of behaviour, mental health, and human development to the work we do.

Our work is grounded in trauma-informed practice, with a focus on collaboration, dignity, and empowerment. We work closely with individuals, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to create practical strategies that improve wellbeing, increase independence, and support meaningful, positive change.

At Empowerment Support Collective, our goal is simple: to help people build strong foundations for positive change.
